As a mother of two girls, I know firsthand that no outfit is complete without a bow! If you don't believe me, just ask my daughter! 😉 She'll happily inform you that every outfit needs a bow, and if one bow is good...two bows are even better!

If you are using a cutting machine to cut these bows make sure to check out my Cricut Hacks post to help you save time and money!!

I love making bows for my girls and I've been dying to try my hand at making some chunky french 3 layer bows!

I finally had a little bit of free time over the Christmas break to make a pattern and sit down to for a night of crafting. I actually made all 6 of these bows in less than an hour! How's that for a quick and easy project?

You can make these bows using your cutting machine or you can cut them out by hand! They come together in a snap and you'll get the look of a boutique bow for a fraction of the price! I'm all about the boutique look without the boutique price-tag!

Plan a bow making party with your friends or even use these templates at a baby shower! They make for wonderful gifts and you can even resize the bow to get the desired shape/size within Cricut Design Space.

The gold, pink and white bow were made using the template in the normal size. The hot pink and rose gold were adjusted to be smaller and wider.

These bows can be made from leather, faux leather, felt, paper or laminated fabric. Cut them out of Iron-On (HTV) and adhere it to felt or fabric to add a little extra sparkle. Use them for hairbows or even to decorate cards or packages.

The possibilities are endless and I can't wait to see what you make! Be sure to tag me on Instagram @sweetredpoppy with your creations!!!

It’s listed under supplies. Just click on “Bow Pattern” it will take you to a google drive folder and then you can download either the SVG or the PDF depending on if you are printing it or cutting with a machine.

Great tutorial! I downloaded tutorial and there's a few extra shapes in the svg like the one that kind of looks like a butterfly. What do you do with those?
