The school year is about to end, and Teacher Appreciation Week is quickly approaching! To celebrate our incredible teachers, I made these cute Teacher Appreciation Gift Tag Printables to pair with your gifts!
It's a small gesture that will surely put a smile on any teacher's face!
In this blog post I'll talk about all the gift tags included in this bundle below. Plus, I'll show you all the cute projects I made that pair perfectly with these gift tags.
The projects I made incorporate a cupcake plant nursery pot, a pencil gift box, and a clear apple container. Keep reading to see more!
Included in the Teacher Appreciation Gift Tag Bundle
These gift tags are great for Teacher Appreciation Week or really any time of the year!
There are 12 gift tags and 3 banner flags, each with different sayings like "Thanks for Making Me Bloom" and "Best Teacher Ever!" with retro flowers, rainbows, and other designs.
Some of the sayings are repeated, but each tag has a different color or design.
Gift Tags
*Be sure to download the complete printable below for the best resolution! Saving the images in this blog post will result in a fuzzy poor-quality print.
"Happy Last Day of School!"
One tag has a pencil at the bottom, and the other has a checkerboard design with a flower and a smiley face. These would be so cute to give to a teacher on the last day attached to a gift basket or summer treat!
"You're a Groovy Teacher"
One has two daisy flowers on the corners, and the other has a wavy rainbow, daisies, and a butterfly. An idea for iced coffee lovers would be to pair these gift tags with those trending retro daisy glass beer can gifts.
"Thanks for helping me Bloom"
One has a retro blossoming flower at the bottom, and the other has a smiley flower in the center. You could attach this to a succulent or another idea that includes a flower pot gift I made. I will share a photo of the finished product in this blog later, down below.
"You're the Best Teacher Ever"
One has a wavy rainbow behind the text, and the other says "Best Teacher Ever" and has a smiley face, daisies, and sparkles. This one would pair well with any gift!
"You're One Sharp Teacher"
One has a rainbow with a pencil in front of it surrounded by daisies, and the other doesn't have a rainbow design. I paired this one with a pencil gift box I assembled.
"Being your Student is a Treat"
This gift tag has sparkles and retro, colorful rays. Tie this one to a fun treat box holding a cookie or cupcake.
"Thanks for a Groovy Year"
This one has a checkerboard at the bottom with smiley faces. This gift tag would pair well with DIY earrings or a tumbler gift.
Banner Flags
Three banner flags have the sayings "You're a Groovy Teacher, ""Thanks for being my Teacher," and "You're One Sharp Teacher." These would look so cute in a gift basket, sticking out from a tumbler, or inserted into a plant!

Print Settings
To get the best print, I recommend feeding from the Rear Tray if your printer has one, the Paper Type set to "Photo" and the Quality to "Best."
Pro Tip: Do Nozzle Checks and Printer Head Cleanings on your printer to get the best prints. You can access this through your printer's settings.
Head over to your printer provider's website or manual if you're questioning how to clean your printer. Remember that every printer is different- you may have to run a couple of tests on your printer.
Paper Type
The type of paper you select for your printables will make a huge difference in the quality of your print, and how vibrant your colors appear.
For the best print, use a heavy-weight, bright-white, smooth type of paper or paper specifically designed for your printer.
You could also print these tags on sticker paper that's adhesive-backed. All you have to do is print your stickers, cut them out, and peel the sticker away from the backing.
My personal preference is to print on sticker paper because the colors look so vibrant and bright!
Pro Tip: Use sticker paper to get high-quality, vibrant prints.
Cutting Gift Tags
Use scissors or a paper trimmer for more precise cuts. Once you've cut your gift tags, grab a hole punch and punch a hole at the top of the gift tag where the white circle is.

Flower Pot Gift
I ordered these Cupcake Plant Nursery Pots from Amazon, filled one with Gold Crinkle Cut Paper Shred Filler, placed a gift card inside, some paper anemone flowers, and tied the "Thanks for Helping me Bloom" gift tag with a ribbon around the flower pot.

Pencil Box Gift
I also ordered this Pencil gift box from Amazon, filled it with iridescent shreds and a gift card, wrapped it with ribbon, and tied the "You're One Sharp Teacher" to the box.
Acrylic Clear Apple Box Gift
Isn't this cute?! This clear apple candy container is great to use as a gift holder for a cupcake or to hold something sweet inside. Tie the "Being your Student is a Treat" around the apple with a ribbon, and you have a gift!
