I've felt the need to personalize everything ever since I first got my Cricut machine! So of course, when I came across these tumblers I knew they needed some fun sewing quotes on them. I bought this gorgeous Holographic vinyl about a month ago and I've been itching to use it ever since!
I created two free sewing SVG files that are perfect for this project! "Stitch Happens" is a play on words because we all know that certain inevitable things tend to happen while sewing. Hence the reason I always keep my seam ripper close by. "All I Do Is Pin" is for those of us who seem to spend all of our time assembling fabric together! I know I'm not the only one, right?

CUT PROJECT

Step 3. Select the specific type of vinyl that you are using.
Step 4. Load the mat and click the flashing Cricut button to cut the design.
Step 6. Remove the mat from the cutting machine once it finishes cutting the design.
WEED
Step 1. Remove the vinyl from the mat.
Step 2. Using a weeding tool, gently remove the excess vinyl from the backing.
Step 3. Cut a piece of Cricut Standard Transfer Tape to the same size as the design.
Step 4. Remove the backing and apply it to the vinyl.
Step 5. Using a scrapper, adhere the transfer tape to the vinyl and peel away the white paper backing.
APPLY
Step 1. Center the transfer tape and design on the tumbler.
Step 2. Firmly press on the vinyl to adhere it to the tumbler.
Step 3. Gently pull the clear transfer tape away from the design. If a piece of the vinyl does not stick, lay the clear transfer tape back down and apply more pressure.
Aren't these tumblers SO pretty? I just love the way the holographic vinyl catches the light!

The file doesn't come up properly in Design Space. The loopy part of the "h" is filled in and so are the P's. What am I doing wrong?
