Create Christmas Bows with the Cricut Explore Air 2 from JOANN

When it comes to wrapping presents I love adding a little something extra to make a big impact! I've teamed up with JOANN and Cricut, two of my favorite brands to bring you something extra special!
I'm sharing my FREE SVG bow files today that are perfect for decorating Christmas presents! Cut them out of paper, cardstock or felt to create beautiful easy-to-make bows. You can even add them to your Christmas tree.
If you are new to Cricut, here's a quick overview of what this machine can do!

SUPPLIES
Cricut Explore Air 2
Light Grip Mat
Cricut Weeding Tool
Cardstock
Hot Glue
DESIGN SPACE
Step 1. Log into Cricut Design Space and click “Create New Project.” Download SVG files here.
Step 2. Click “Upload” on the left-hand side. Upload the SVG files into Cricut Design Space
Step 3. Resize SVG to the desired size for the specific project.
Step 4. Click “Make It.”
CUT PROJECT
Step 1. Prepare paper and remove mat liner.
Step 2. Place the paper wrong side down, facing the mat.
Step 3. Set the dial to select cardstock or custom if you are using a different material.
Step 4. Insert mat and click the flashing Cricut button to begin cutting.
REMOVE PROJECT FROM MAT
Step 1. Remove the excess paper and gently remove each pattern piece.
Step 2. Pull the mat backward away from the paper to avoid curling the paper.
CREATE BOW
Step 1. Use the end of a Cricut tool to shape the paper so they ends fold inward towards the center.
Step 2. Place a dot of hot glue in the center of the bow on the backside.
Step3. Bring the ends to the center and hold them in place until the glue cools.
Step 4. Stack the bows on top of each other securing them with a dot of hot glue.
SECURE BOWS TOGETHER
Step 1. Place the bows on top of the tail.
Step 2. Wrap the center around the back of the tails and over the front.
Step 3. Secure it with a dot of glue on the backside of the bow.
Step 4. Attach the bow to a present!
